UPSC Prelims: General Studies and CSAT
Choose Prelims to find General Studies Paper I and Paper II (CSAT). Work through a paper before checking its available answer key. When comparing answers, match the year, paper and booklet set: question numbers can differ between sets.
Use General Studies PYQs to review topics and question wording. For CSAT practice, review your approach to comprehension, reasoning and numerical questions, then revisit the questions you could not complete.
UPSC Mains: Essay, GS and language papers
The Mains section groups Essay, General Studies I–IV and compulsory language papers. Select the relevant group to find a question paper for your chosen year.
For answer-writing practice, read the instruction words carefully, outline your response and write within the limits printed on the paper. Compare related questions across years to see how the same topic can be approached from different angles.
Optional subject previous year papers
Choose Optional, then your regular or literature optional subject. Look for Paper I and Paper II separately. The subject and paper labels help keep your practice material organised across years.
After attempting a question, connect it to the relevant syllabus topic and record what you need to revise. Revisit that topic before attempting another year's question.
