Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the RD's UPSC ERP public website and application releases may handle information. This website is an independent product website and is not affiliated with the Union Public Service Commission.

1. Public website

The starter website is static. It does not create user accounts, process payments, use advertising cookies or store study data. Standard hosting infrastructure may process technical logs such as IP address, request time, browser type and requested page for security and reliability.

2. App data

The desktop and Android applications may store syllabus, planning, notes, progress, settings and related study information on the user's device. Optional backup, authentication or sync features may use third-party services only when configured and enabled in the relevant app version.

3. Permissions

Mobile or desktop releases may request permissions required for a feature, such as file access, notifications, camera, network access or account authentication. Permissions should be requested contextually and may be managed through device settings.

4. Third-party services

When a release integrates services such as GitHub, Google, Telegram or email delivery, those services process information under their own policies. The exact integrations enabled should be described in the release notes and in-app disclosures.

5. Data security

Reasonable technical safeguards should be used, but no software or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should maintain independent backups of important study data.

6. Data choices

Users may uninstall the app, revoke permissions and delete locally stored data using operating-system or in-app controls. Cloud-backed data deletion depends on the service enabled in that version.

7. Children

The product is intended for exam preparation and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.
